MBPJ Mayor Replacement: No Closed Meeting

SHAH ALAM, 7 Dec: Today, the Office of the State Secretary, Corporate Division has denied the report from The Star (newspaper) dated December the 4th, that a closed meeting was held to find a replacement for the Mayor of Petaling Jaya City Council.

In a brief statement to, TV Selangor informed that the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim did not discuss or hold any closed meeting with the Selangor State Secretary, Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi, State Financial Officer, Datuk Noordin Sulaiman, Deputy State Secretary (Development), Datuk Mohamad Roslan Sakiman and Datin Paduka Zauyah Be Loth Khan to appoint a new MBPJ Mayor.

The statement also informed that until now, the State Government has yet to appoint Roslan’s replacement as the Mayor or MBPJ.
