SHAH ALAM, 1 Jan: Sekinchan Assemblyman Ng Suee Lim expressed his commitment to continue to defend the seat in the 13th General Elections (GE-13), which he had won for two terms since 2004.

He said the spread of the leaflets and the slander claiming that Suee Lim will ‘run’ to another constituency is BN’s desperate strategy to cloud the eyes of the people by deceiving people with baseless facts.

This morning, the people of Taman Ria Sekinchan Residential Areas were shocked by the distribution of the eight-page pamphlet entitled ‘The Sins of Ng Suee Lim’ to tarnish the image of the Sekinchan Assemblyman.

The Malay-language leaflets which was distributed to every home is believed to have been distributed at midnight on 2013 new year’s day and is also believed to have been distributed to other parts of the Sekinchan constituency.

The pamphlet describes nine issues that attacks Suee Lim’s personality by trying to blame voters for giving Pakatan Rakyat mandate in the last general election (GE-12).

“It is a BN provocation to confuse the people.

“In this new year, they (BN) has lost direction in the Sekinchan constituency and Sungai Besar Parliament as well as the whole of Sabak Bernam,” said Suee Lim when contacted by TV Selangor.

He said that the strength of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) is becoming more obvious in Sungai Besar Parliament, Sabak Bernam Parliament and also Tanjong Karang Parliament.

“The people today are believing in Pakatan Rakyat more and more and they feel joy with PR and the ‘Merakytkn Ekonomi Selangor’ (Localising the Selangor Economy) Agenda,” he said.

He said that if elected, he will continue to work to serve the people.

Meanwhile, Suee Lim in response to allegations of the defamatory pamphlets on the issue of a Billboard with Suee Lim’s face on it said that it is because BN is envious of his success in promoting Sekinchan as a new tourism area in Selangor.

“I am just promoting Sekinchan (constituency) as an ecotourism destination.

“And the people in Sekinchan already know that tourism here has grown rapidly with a number of tourists from other countries coming to Sekinchan to visit its uniqueness such as the paddy fields, fishing and small-medium enterprises.

“The potential of Sekinchan is shown by putting up large billboards and finally, this success is envied by them (BN) and they attack me with this billboard issue,” he said.
