PETALING JAYA, 8 Jan: The final location of the People’s Uprising Assembly (HKR) this Saturday will be determined tomorrow evening if the management of Merdeka Stadium still does not respond.
HKR Chairman, Mohammad Sabu said that they will continue to discuss with the National Chief of Police to explain the planning of the assembly to ensure that it runs peacefully.
“As of now, the stadium management has yet to indicate yes or no.
“Tomorrow at 4.00 pm we will provide the information of the final location of the assembly,” he said in a press conference at the PKR headquarters.
Also present were PKR Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP Parliamentary Leader Lim Kit Siang.
Meanwhile, Anwar urged all supporters and Pakatan Rakyat members to be present at the assembly which will be held this Saturday, 12 January, 2013.
He explained that the Pakatan Raykat leadership fully supports the assembly and asks for the police to cooperate so that it runs peacefully.
