SHAH ALAM, 6 Mar: The State Government is offering 5,600 free tickets to watch the 2013 Super League match between Selangor and Johor Darul Takzim FC which will take place this Saturday.
State Health, Plantation Workers, Poverty and Caring Government Exco, Dr Xavier Jayakumar said that the tickets are offered to holders of identity cards numbered 10, children of Selangor, in conjunction with the five years of administration of the State Government this weekend.
He said that the tickets will be distributed beginning 5pm at the Independence Square in Shah Alam this Saturday.
In conjunction with the two-day celebration, various interesting programmes will be held, among them a Prime Forum, state level Women’s Day celebrations, stage performances, presentation of the Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor programme, a Zikir Perdana and cooking demonstrations.
The celebrations will begin on 8 March from 7pm to 11pm for the Zikir Perdana and Prime Forum and 9 March (Saturday), celebrations will begin at 9.30am to 6.30pm.
Among the artists who will grace the occasion are Dayangku Intan, Jack Dzul, Ikka Razman, Miss Sarada, the Summerhead Band and Blank Gamma as well as Yasin.
Meanwhile, several Pakatan Rakyat leaders will also be present, among them DAP Parliamentary Leader, Lim Kit Siang; PAS Deputy President, Mohamad Sabu; PKR Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim; Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and PKR President, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Ismail as well as Selangor PR leaders.
