Former government employee, Pen Wong, 67, said that the people should give a chance to Pakatan Rakyat to govern the country.

This is after seeing the various welfare programmes organised by Selangor which helps all, irrespective of political affiliation or ethnicity.

He said that after almost 56 years under the Umno-BN rule, the status of the poor have yet to change, in fact the government only prioritises stakeholders.

“I think that PKR (the State Government) has helped the poor a lot.I like this party a lot.

“Although I receive a pension, it is still not enough. If you can help, of course I would like it,” he said.

He also refuted the credibility of the MCA party which has failed to develop the poorer groups from the Chinese community.

“MCA does not help. I do not support MCA, every time I read news online, I feel hatred towards (Datuk Seri) Chua Soi Lek. He has no morals.

“I have not seen any changes.Malays, Chinese and Indians are poor.(Umno-BN) helps cronies only,” he explained further.
