Quality Of PNSB Dialysis Centre Will Continue To Be Enhanced

KLANG, 4 Mar: The Dialysis Centre owned by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) at Taman Sri Andalas will continue to be enhanced to help those in need.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said that his visit to the centre is to identify problems and to make plans to improve the quality of service.

“This visit is to explore how the quality of service here can be enhanced for the community in the Klang district,” said Abdul Khalid who is also the PNSB Chairman.

Abdul Khalid said this during his visit to the dialysis centre which can accommodate 49 patients per day.

He said that among the plans to improve the centre is to improve the maintenance aspect and to ensure that the water tanks are adequate.

“It will be resolved a s soon as possible,” said Abdul Khalid.

Also present during the visit was the President of Pekawanis, Puan Sri Salbiah Tunut and Health, Plantation Workers, Poverty and Caring Government Exco, Dr Xavier Jayakumar.

PNSB ventured into the dialysis services in Selangor through its subsidiary company, PNSB Supplies & Services Sdn Bhd.

It began operations in January 2007, and is located at No 83, Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Taman Sri Andalas, Klang.

This centre is the first in Malaysia to be fully operational as a Single Use Operation which is administered by Nerphrologist as well as trained and experienced staff.

The treatment centre is equipped with 11 machines operating in two sessions.

In future, PNSB plans to open dialysis centres in every district in Selangor.
