SHAH ALAM, 20 Mar: Several large companies such as Toyota, Microsoft, Western Digital and also several organisations such as SIRIM Bhd and the Malaysian Design Council will be participating in the Science Innovation and Technology Exhibition (SITEX Selangor 2013) which will be held from 4 to 6 April 2013.
The trade exhibition organised by the State Government is being held to provide the best platform for researchers, entrepreneurs and companies to showcase the latest products and services to potential buyers and investors.
Welfare, Women’s Affairs, Science, Technology and Innovation Exco, Rodziah Ismail said that this exhibition aims to serve as a channel for marketing, networking, a stimulus for business relationship between local and foreign entrepreneurs based on technological products.
“Along with that, researchers, entrepreneurs and companies participating in this exhibition can also provide information about their products and services on stage for visitors,” she said in a press conference at the State Secretariat Building today.
SITEX Selangor 2013 organised by the State Government subsidiary company, Selangor State Investment Council (SSIC), also provides a basis for high school and university students to engage in science, technology and innovation.
“University student selected in the architectural design competition will present their designs during the event,” she said.
