SHAH ALAM, 30 Apr: I will wait for the Prime Minister and his candidate for Chief Minister at a restaurant in Port Klang tomorrow at 10.30am to debate with them.
This was the response from the Selangor Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to the challenge from Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Najib challenged Abdul Khalid to present the five-year achievement report on the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat administration.
“With an open heart, I accept the challenge and I have expressed my willingness to hold a debate with him.
“However, up to this second, I have yet to receive any response from the Prime Minister,” said Abdul Khalid in a press statement here today.
Abdul Khalid said that he and the people of Selangor will be waiting for Najib tomorrow at the compound of Iskandar Restaurant in Pandamaran Jaya, Port Klang.
Abdul Khalid who is also the candidate for the Port Klang constituency seat wants Najib to being along his candidate for the position of Chief Minister of Selangor for the people to know who might be leading the state administration if Umno-BN managed to capture Selangor.
