PETALING JAYA, 29 Apr: PKR today revealed the Sungai Chua, Kajang secret location which is allegedly used by the Election Commission (EC) to store ballot boxes.
PKR De Facto Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also showed documents and mail ballots that were obtained from the secret location.
“With this evidence, Anwar urged the EC to answer why and for what the official postal ballots are stored at this suspicious place and not at the EC headquarters.
“Is it reasonable that this rundown building is used as the official secret location for the EC as stated by them and its location in an industrial area in Sungai Chua, Kajang.”
The picture shows that the premises used to hide the postal ballots is a shophouse.
Also detected were four-wheel-drive vehicles believed to be used to transport the postal ballots.
Last week, Anwar revealed how the vehicles did not go to the Putrajaya headquarters and instead re-routed to this mystery location.
“How is it that these very secret and important documents which should have been taken to Putrajaya were found at a shop completely unregistered to be owned by the EC.”
It was reported on 25 April that the EC said that the delivery logistics such as the ballot boxes and other equipment were to meet the needs of polling stations to ensure the smooth running of the polling day.
