SHAH ALAM, 3 Apr: The opposition in Selangor has been asked to practice politics maturely and to not act beyond the law in organising and promoting violence against their opposition.

Selangor Executive Councillor, Elizabeth Wong, said that the people need more competent politicians in fighting for the best policy for the benefit of the people as a whole and not political violence, political slander and political hatred.

She said that the annoyance faced is a threat of political violence which is becoming more widespread, especially in the series of physical attacks or organised slander against Pakatan Rakyat.

“Pakatan Rakyat is always enthusiastic and ready to continue to administer Selangor, thus forming a new government which is clean, transparent, honest and responsible in leading Putrajaya,” said Elizabeth in a media statement.

She said that the people are urged to make the right choice in choosing a fair, transparent, and more competent government to lead Selangor and Malaysia for a more secure future.

“Make Pakatan Rakyat’s success in administering Selangor as an example to prove our ability in governing the government administration better and transparently, as well as being able to implement administrative reforms in the interest of the people as a whole.

“It is hoped that a structural change at the Federal level will occur after the GE-13, for the sake of the survival of Malaysia as a sovereign, prosperous, peaceful and welfare country.
