PETALING JAYA, 12 Apr: PKR today denied allegations of several Umno bloggers linking the party to the broadcasting of a sex video involving a PAS senior leader on a website.

PKR Vice-President, N Surendran described the allegations in a press conference at the PKR headquarters as baseless and senseless.

“This is the most baseless claim ever made by Umno bloggers. In fact, if I am not mistaken, Papagomo is among the individuals that claimed that PKR is involved in the distribution of the video or has something to do with it.

“Everyone knows that Papagomo is convicted of crime and he has posted a variety of videos on his website,” he said.

Surendran stressed that he is confident that the matter will not affect the support of the people towards Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and considers it as yet another attempt by Umno-BN to discredit PR.

He said that PR is more united in this election and will strive to lead the administration of the country and to fight against corruption.

“We are firmly united in the 13th General Elections (GE-13) compared to the previous elections,” he said.

Eight days before the nomination, several pro-Umno blogs uploaded a video involving a PAS senior leader with an unknown woman in a hotel room.

Blogger, Papagomo claimed that the woman in the video admitted to have been hired by PKR to trap the leader – who according to him is the loudest in the PAS-Umno consolidation through a united government.
