Teng: Umno-BN Political Hypocrites

SHAH ALAM, 30 Apr: Pakatan Rakyat candidate for the Sungai Pinang constituency, Datuk Teng Chang Khim expressed sadness with the pretentious nature of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

The characteristic can be clearly seen with Umno-BN’s attitude in waiting for a problem to be first solved by Pakatan Rakyat before pushing to take advantage, said Teng.

Prior to this, Najib allegedly tried to gain support by offering discounts for houses at Bukit Botak, a housing project that was neglected by Umno-BN but saved and completed by the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat Government.

Najib, who is also the Selangor Umno-BN Chairman, was also criticised by Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, when he tried to take credit for solving the abandoned housing project in Alam Perdana.

The Selangor Umno Deputy Chief of Relations, Datuk Seri Noh Omar was spotted trying to take credit from the acquisition of the abandoned housing project in Ukay Bistari, Hulu Kelang.

“Why wait until the Pakatan Rakyat government solves it? (He) only comes forward to show their faces to hand over keys.”

Also attracting the former Selangor State Assembly Speaker is the promise of free water made by Umno-BN.

“When Selangor PR implemented it, he accused that Selangor will bankrupt, now he is promising free water in his manifesto for Selangor.”

This two-face attitude, stressed Teng, does not reflect the attitude of a pious leader.

“We are confident that the people will make a wise choice and choose the Pakatan Rakyat Government which is prudent, clean and attentive in continuing excellence.”
