50 Individuals Damaged the Cars of PR Supporters at the Pandamaran Ceramah

KLANG, 4 May: Approximately 50 individuals, suspected to be BN supporters, damaged the cars of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) supporters at the Pandamaran Sports Complex last night.

It is understood that the individuals came in 10 cars and came down make provocations at the PR ‘Grand Countdown’ ceramah (talk) at around 10pm.

However, because PR supporters ignored them, the individuals damaged the cars of PR supporters parked at the complex.

Out of anger by the incident, PR supporters consisting of DAP members chased them till the Pandamaran Market.

According to the Port Klang Operations Room Chief, Saiful Imam Sabudin, the incident happened around 10pm to 12am.

“The BN supporters broke car mirrors using hard objects such as baseball bats,” he said when contacted.

The defending Klang MP, Charles Santiago also confirmed the incident.

“I understand that a BN supporter was injured. The incident occurred unexpectedly, however it was managed to be resolved by the police,” he said.

He urged all party members to remain calm and to not act as they please, which may cause injury and damage to property.

A police report was lodged by the organisers of the ceramah.
