May 6 Public Holiday in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, 3 May: Monday, 6 May, has been declared as a public holiday in Selangor to facilitate the people of Selangor to vote on Sunday, 5 May.

Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim hopes that the day is used as well as possible to go back to vote in respective areas and to not need to rush back to work.

“We pray for the voters and the people of Selangor to return safely to carry out their responsibility as citizens of Malaysia.

“Your vote will decide the fate of future generations. Vote wisely,” Abdul Khalid said in a statement here.
