Abdul Khalid was ready to debate with Najib by presenting the Selangor State Government performance reports.

Najib, or a representative, failed to appear after Abdul Khalid waited from 9am to 12pm.

“We asked him (Najib) to attend so that he can listen to and discuss our manifesto, but looks like it is BN’s tradition to not hold or be interested in a debate.

“But it is okay. We believe that the manifesto championed by PR can be implemented because we have endeavoured efforts and we have implemented many things,” he told reporters here.

Abdul Khalid also believes that the manifesto championed by Pakatan Rakyat (PR) is better compared to that of Umno-BN.

Also present was the President of PKR, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, the incumbent for the Klang Parliament, Charles Santiago; DAP Publicity Secretary, Tony Pua; the incumbent of Sri Muda constituency, Suhaimi Shafei and Kota Alam Shah candidate, Ganabatirau.
