KLANG, 11 May: A special discussion will be held in the near future with the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) and the police to improve security in several areas in Klang.
According the Port Klang Assemblyman, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, he will also meet with housing developers to solve security problems in Klang.
“We must find short-term and long-term solutions to overcome this problem.
“With regards to that, I plan to meet with housing developers next week so I can find out about their project plans and how to equip this area to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
“Such incidents do not only adversely affect the residents in this area but the entire Klang district,” he said after visiting the family of Nur Amyliana Shuhada Mohd Noor who was raped and killed yesterday.
The body of Nur Amyliana Shuhada, 11, was found at the parking lot at Lorong Batu Nilam 1E, Bukit Tinggi, Klang, about 200 metres from her house.
Meanwhile, Amyliana was buried in the Selat Kelang Cemetery here at 11pm last night.
In the meantime, Kelang Selatan District Police Chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Md. Yusop was quoted saying that he received the autopsy report from Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) last night.
As of now, two men, 19 and 24, have been remanded for a week to help with the investigation.
