Anwar’s Incarceration Drives PKR to Launch Reformation 2.0 Movement

KAJANG, 8 Mar: A few hours after Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was sentenced to five years in prison, his supporters gathered in Kajang calling for the fall of BN.

The Deputy President of KEADILAN, Mohamed Azmin Ali, declared the start of Reformation 2.0 in front of 500 people at the party election operations room in Kampung Sungai Sekamat, Kajang.

He asked attendees whether they wanted to fight through the election or to take to the streets, and they cheered in agreement.

“Although we won with 2 percent of votes, they are still in power,” he said.

Azmin said that the Pakatan Rakyat Presidential Council will decide tomorrow whether to take to the streets.

“If we announce for it to take place at 9pm at Dataran Merdeka, are you ready?

“If we announce at 3pm tomorrow at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, are you ready?” asked Azmin, greeted by attendees as reported by Malaysiakini.
