SHAH ALAM, 20 July: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) fully supports Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s decision to hold a special parliamentary session regarding the MH17 tragedy.

Opposition leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said that PR is also committed to any form of resolution to condemn the tragedy which is deemed as a crime of genocide.

He said that the PM should clearly state who is responsible for the tragedy, regardless of whoever they are.

“We fully support the efforts to bring those responsible to justice and to take steps to ensure a fast and free investigation.

“This is definitely a very sad day for all Malaysians and we hope that everyone will not issue any sensitive statements to the victims’ families,” he said in a statement yesterday.
