SHAH ALAM, 31 July: The fall of the Kedah Pakatan Rakyat (PR) cannot be the yardstick of the fall of the Selangor PR if the state is lost in the 14th General Election.
This is because the Selangor PR managed to obtain a larger majority in the GE13 compared to previous years.
The Selangor PAS Secretary, Mohd Khairuddin Othman, said that the Kedah PR Government lost power in the same general election.
“Kedah and Selangor are certainly not the same because Kedah was lost in the GE13 while Selangor remained with a larger majority in the GE13.
“The people appreciate the role of the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim,” he told Selangor Kini today.
Khairuddin said that a victory or degrading of PR performance in the GE14 is entirely dependent on the stability of the state and the welfare handed to the people.
