Fogging activities to avoid increase in dengue cases

SHAH ALAM, 11 Aug: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will carry out fogging activities based on dengue cases which are increasing in Selangor.

According to MBSA, the activities will be carried out after receiving notification of dengue cases from hospitals as a means of control.

MBSA said that dengue is seriously increasing due to Aedes breeding places in water catchments in residential areas.

The public are also advised to keep their surroundings clean every day, especially at home and at the workplace.

The conditions of fogging activities are only based on notification received from hospitals.

For any further questions, the public can contact the dengue operations room at 03-55222793 or visit the MBSA Environmental Health Department on the 17th Floor of Wisma MBSA.
