Do not act alone in deciding on ‘major moves’ – Hadi

BATU PAHAT, 18 Sept: PAS will remain with Pakatan Rakyat (PR) as long as the consensus does not violate conditions of Islamic rules and law.

The PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, said that it is most important to strengthen PAS’ unity in the coalition with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and DAP.

“This refers to the conditions stipulated by the Ulama to remain committed to serve with PR as long as it does not violate Islamic law as stipulated by the Ulama.

“A Muslims must fulfil the teams of the agreement except when the unity bans what is Halal and make Halal what is wrong.

“Throughout our history, we have not betrayed our allies in PR and we also hope that our allies in PR do not betray PAS,” he said in his keynote address at the 60th Annual Conference today.

The three-day annual conference is being held here at Dataran PArit Salleh Ros.

Abdul Hadi also reminded allies in PR to not make their own decisions in major moves.

The ‘major move’ is believed to be in reference of the Kajang Move.

PKR began the Kajang Move which in the end messed up the Selangor PR Government as they never discussed it with allies in PR.
