MPSJ continues to monitor bulk waste that affects the residents

SUBANG JAYA, 23 Oct: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) will monitor the area of the low-cost flats in SS13 and SS19 to overcome the problem of throwing bulk waste which has been on-going for several years.

The problem is believed to involve foreign workers who live in the area and from outside the area.

The Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya, Hannah Yeoh, said that MPSJ will monitor the situation to overcome related problems.

She said that it needs to be addressed immediately so that the residents there do not have to face the situation.

“The main problem is the throwing of bulk waste and feedback received said that it involves foreign nationals who do not follow the rules in throwing waste.

“The area of this flat is in a public area and people on the outside can easily come in. In Subang Jaya, there are only two low-cost flats; here and in SS13.

“We hope that everyone will cooperate by caring for the cleanliness,” she said during a media conference after the rubbish bin presentation ceremony at Pangsapuri SS19/7A today.

Five rubbish bulk rubbish bins worth RM6,400 were handed over to the flat’s management.

Hannah said that hopefully the residents will use the facility given as best possible.
