Azmin: Replace Anwar, “You agree? If you agree, it is ok with me”

SHAH ALAM, 16 Dec: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, saw the statement by political analyst Prof Jayum Jawan who said that Azmin as the best person to replace the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as a personal view.

“This is the professor’s opinion and view,” he said briefly when met by reporters at the Consolation Payment Cheque Presentation Ceremony to the buyers of the Taman Bukit Impian Housing project today.

When pestered by reporters to comment further, Mohamed Azmin jokingly said that the view will only happen if he receives support from reporters.

“You agree? If you agree, it is ok with me,” said the PKR Deputy President jokingly asked the reporters.

Yesterday, Prof Jayum Jawan said that Anwar is no longer relevant in the current political situation and his successor should be prepped from now.

Prof Jayum, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the political cluster of the national Council of Professors, also clearly picked Mohamed Azmin as the most qualified candidate as he has the potential to contest for the position of the next PKR President.
