CM & Excos sign message of condolence over Lee Kuan Yew’s death

SHAH ALAM, 25 Mar: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, and several Exco members today went to the Singapore Embassy to pay their last respects to the late Lee Kuan Yew.

The delegation signed a message of condolence over the loss of the founder of Singapore in the book provided by the embassy.

Through a picture shared on State Exco Dr Daroyah Alwi’s Twitter page, also seen was the PKR President and Kajang Assemblyman, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Also there was State Exco V. Ganabatirau and PKR Vice President Shamsul Iskandar Mat Akin, as well as Dr Xavier Jayakumar.

The former first Prime Minister, lee Kuan Yew, died at the Singapore General Hospital at about 3.18 am two days ago.

The Cambridge law graduate is said to be the leader responsible for making Singapore one of the richest countries in the world based on their high per capita income.

He is the first founder of the People’s Action Party (PAP), which has been ruling Singapore since 1959 and led the country to separate from Malaysia in 1965.
