DAP will remain in Pakatan Rakyat

SHAH ALAM, 24 Mar: DAP decided to remain in Pakatan Rakyat because it is a coalition administration that represents the aspirations of all Malaysians to build a new Malaysia.

DAP Secretary General Lim Guan Eng said that DAP will meet with the People’s Justice Party (PKR) leadership to DAP will meet the PKR leadership to discuss the future course of Pakatan Rakyat.


“As Hadi is the PAS leader in PR, DAP’s decision to end all ties with Hadi will effectively put the PR leadership council in limbo,” he said.

Guan Eng said DAP opposes the implementation of Hudud laws because it is unconstitutional.

“Those who voted for PAS in the last general election, did not vote for the implementation of hudud but for the Common Policy Framework.,” he said in a press statement.
