SHAH ALAM, 5 Mar: The Selangor PAS condemned the attack on the Central PAS Committee Member, Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, who was attacked by unidentified individuals when returning from the morning prayers today.

PAS Commissioner, Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that the act of violence should not be left to happen on any party or individual.

“We hope that the police will expedite the investigation so that those responsible can be identified and prosecuted,” he said in a statement.

At the same time, Iskandar said that he has also instructed for security for Selangor PAS leaders to be improved immediately.

He said that this is to ensure that actions by some people who are trying to spark provocation can be stopped.

“The Selangor PAS Youth will perform this task,” he said.

Dzulkefly was beaten by a group of unidentified men in front of his house near Shah Alam early this morning.

Due to the incident, his lip cracked and he suffered swelling on his head.
