SHAH ALAM, 22 Mar: The weekends, which are often used for relaxation for most people today, was used by visiting the sales centre for Selangorku Homes offered by the state government in Bandar Rimbayu near Kota Kemuning.

People of all races took the opportunity to find out more about the affordable housing introduced by the Selangor government at affordable prices specially for low and middle income earners.

The people began to fill the sales centre as early as 9 am, which was officiated by the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

The weather which was cloudy and had occasional drizzling did not stop people visiting the Selangorku Homes sales centre which was being run by a leading private developer, IJM Lang.

It was estimated that almost 500 visitors grabbed the opportunity to own the 2,330 units of homes in the area that are being offered at prices between RM42,000 up to RM250,000 per unit.

There are nine Selangorku Homes projects under the Selangorku Homes Encouragement Incentive Scheme 2015 which was approved by the state government with a total of 11,833 units.

This number does not include over 22,444 units that will be built by 2018.
