Azmin: “Thanks for PAS’ support in Permatang Pauh”

KUALA SELANGOR, 28 Apr: PAS’ support towards the by-election in Permatang Pauh is welcomed to ensure that the seat remains with PKR.

The PKR Deputy President, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the presence of the top leaders of PAS in the area is very satisfactory despite previous conflicts.

“PAS is there now even though Pemuda is not, but the Secretary-General, Yang Dipertua, and the PAS Deputy President are there.

“If we want all PAS members to be there, it is beyond my control, but by seeing their presence there, I must thank PAS,” he said after visiting Maahad Tarbiyah Islamiyah Al-Ansar yesterday.

He said this in response to the statement by the Penang State PAS Youth Assembly (DPPNPP) to not help Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in the Permatang Pauh by-election.

However, the Selangor PAS machinery decided to assist in the Permatang Pauh by-election.
