CM: Not just the people, Mahathir also wants Najib to step down

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Aug: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, on Twitter, reminded the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, that he is not only being rejected by the people, but Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed also does not support him.

The brief statement that said ‘Mahathir want ‘bangsat’ Najib to leave’ was posted by Mohamed Azmin just now.

Prior to this, Najib, in a statement, said that Malays will be ‘bangsat’ if they stop submitting and clinging to Umno.

Earlier, Tun Mahathir, together with his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Ali, went to Dataran Merdeka at 7.20 pm.

Their presence was seen as a sign of support for the people who are demanding for Najib to step down and save Malaysia.

On Twitter, Mohamed Azmin, who is also the PKR Deputy President, also gathered the support of the young people to join together in protest against repression.

“In the spirit of independence, the young people cannot tolerate oppression and exploitation by the colonists to the natives.

“The young people who have ideals will not allow the oppression of man by man. Students, as the voice of the age, should play a role in bringing about change for the people,” he said.
