Programmes to foster community ties in PJ

SHAH ALAM, SEPT 18: Spend the weekend participating in the various exciting programmes organised by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to strengthen community ties.

On top of the initiative, MBPJ will be organising a swimming competition and a food and games festival, with the collaboration of the Stingray Swim Club located at the MBPJ Pool, Kelana Jaya, on 19 September.

The competition will start at 8.00 am until 6.00 pm and is open to everyone, especially the residents of Petaling Jaya.

Meanwhile, the Semarak Malaysiaku programme will be held at the youth centre in Petaling Jaya Arena Complex, starting at 7.00am, on 20 September.

Among the exciting activities offered are the 4km walkathon, a ‘Cut & Cook’ cooking programme, folk games, creative graffiti workshops, wall climbing, design, floor ball and first run skate.
