Two PWBs actively organising activities for local women

SHAH ALAM – Two Women’s Empowerment Centres (PWBs) are actively organising various activities in the effort to strengthen and empower local women involving exposure according to current needs.

The Tanjung Sepat PWB organised the Women’s Leadership Course to enhance leadership skills among women in the area at the Harmony Hall in Sijangkang on September 14.

At the same time, the Sementa PWB also held the Traditional Massage Programme at the Kampung Sungai Serdang Mosque in Kapar.

The programme was attended by over 20 local women in addition to the Exco for Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development, Dr Daroyah Alwi, who also went there to officiate and provide support.

“May the knowledge gained today be used in the effort to empower women in respective areas,” said Dr Daroyah.
