MYFastPay not SYABAS water bill collection agent

SHAH ALAM, 20 Oct: The Selangor Water Supply Company (SYABAS) has said that MYFastPay is not a valid SYABAS water bill collection agent.

The Air Selangor Management Group Corporate Communications Department Chief, Amin Lin Abdullah, said that consumers are reminded to not make water bill payments through the agent.

He said that the payment of water bills through unauthorised agents because consumer accounts will be recorded as having arrears because unauthorised agents are not send to SYABAS according to the procedures set.

“Outstanding bills complicate matters when the water supply to premises have to be cut.

Payment made through this method is not and has never been approved by Syabas.If customers erroneously pay through method, please contact us at PUSPEL 1-800-88-5252 or email [email protected],” said Amin Lin in a press statement.

He said that SYABAS provides facilities for water bill payments apart from paying at the SYABAS office counters, consumers can also pay online via JomPAY through banks.

Consumers can also pay SYABAS water bills at selected petrol stations, 7-Eleven and other selected convenience stores.
