SHAH ALAM, 15 Apr: The Selangorku Housing Project will be extended to all districts in Selangor, said the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

This is to ensure that low-income earners in the state can afford to own their own homes.

“We are planning, and if successful, we will carry it out in each district. And in each district, we will develop three to four projects at the same time,” said Abdul Khalid during the winding up session of the Supplementary Supply Bill debate.

Among the projects that will be implemented is the 2469-unit Selangorku Housing Project that will be implemented in Sungai Sering.

This project involves 642 units in the first phase which is expected to be completed in 20 months, 1248 units for the second phase and 1248 units for the third phase.

Abdul Khalid added that he will present the Selangorku Housing Project at the Selangor State Assembly when the time comes.
