Azmin surveys Osaka by bicycle

SHAH ALAM, 27 May: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, who is known for his enthusiasm for the cycling sport, cycled around Osaka, Japan, for sightseeing.

The leisurely activity is part of his working visit with the Selangor delegation to the busiest commercial port in Japan, reported malaysiandigest.com.

Mohamed Azmin, who shared his cycling images in Twitter, was seen wearing formal attire to walk around the city of Osaka.

He officially headed the delegation which was joined by Invest Selangor Berhad in the three-day visit to Japan.

Previously, the delegation held meetings with Japanese financial parties in addition to visiting a car manufacturing plant and looking at the development of Osaka, as the railway system.

The Invest Selangor team was tasked at promoting Selangor as a preferred destination for future investments and to attract high-technology investment to the state.

IN the meantime, Mohamed Azmin also shared on Twitter about his interest in the Osaka Hikari no Mori solar power plant project in the city which began operations in 2013.

This is because the plant project uses an industrial waste disposal site freely and made it into a productive economic activity by producing 10 megawatts a day for 3,200 households.
