SHAH ALAM, 6 Aug: The Keadilan Youth Movement (AMK) hopes that a solution regarding the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH370 aircraft can be decided soon.

The leader, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, said that they have to answer questions on how the tragedy that killed 239 passengers and crew members could have happened.

“The announcement that plane fragments that were found on Reunion Island is part of the MH370 aircraft that went missing over a year ago should motivate the authorities to increase efforts to locate the aircraft.

“I call upon the Malaysian government and international partners to continue the search tirelessly until MH370 fragments are found and the remains of the passengers and crew members are returned to their families,” he said in a statement.

He represented AMK in expressing condolences to the families of the victims and will continue to pray for them.

“Now, we hope that all Malaysians can unite and stand by them,” he said.

International experts confirmed that the wing fragments found on Reunion Island, a French colony, are part of the MH370 aircraft and supports the initial conclusion that the MAS aircraft crashed into the Indian Ocean nearly 17 months ago.

The confirmation is expected to narrow the search and raise expectations to resolve what is said to be the biggest mystery in the history of modern aviation.

The MH370 flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing that was carrying 239 passengers and crew members disappeared from radars on March 8, 2014.
