SHAH ALAM, 26 Aug: The parking ticket printing machine concession in Kuala Langat needs to conduct equipment inspection as various complaints have been received in relation to the problem.

The Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL) Yang Dipertua, Mohd Azhar Mohamed Ali, said that further investigation will be carried out to examine the real cause of this problem.

“MDKL will order the concession to repair the parking machine if it indeed stems from machine malfunction.

“The summon can be cancelled immediately of proven that the error was from the printing machine. The is no problem,” he said, taken from Sinar Harian.

Previously, there were complaints regarding parking machines that were not seen and some of them had unclear printing, causing enforcement officers to issue summons.

Mohd Azhar said that those who were summoned, despite having proof of payment through parking tickets, can go to MDKL for cancellation.

“Users issued summons, despite paying them, need to bring along valid evidence for checking. We will also identify the locations that are problematic for improvement,” he said.
