Only 930 Flood Victims Left in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, 16 Nov: The total number of flood victims that are still in evacuation centres in Selangor as of 4pm just now, has reduced to 930 individuals compared to 1,357, yesterday.

According to the National Security Council (MKN) flood portal, from the total number, 58 people are placed at Genting Sanyen Hall, 26 at Bukit Changgang Public Hall, 760 people at Sekolah Kebangsaan Rancangan Tanah Belia Bukit Changgang, Kuala Langat and 86 people at Bukit Tadom Hall, Kuala Langat.

Four evacuation centres are still open in the state and there have been no closed roads or fatalities that have been reported so far.

However, Sungai Langat in Bukit Changgang, Kuala Langat, is still at a dangerous level with water levels above the danger level at 3.51 metres while Sungai Langat in Dengkil has also gone above the normal level with the reading of 4.4 metres. People in the area are asked to be weary.
