SHAH ALAM, 13 Dec: The Selangor State Investment Council (SSIC) will be organising the 2012 Selangor Science, Technology and Innovation Exhibition (Sintex) from 4 to 6 April 2012 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC).
The exhibition which will last for three days is aimed to provide a suitable platform for researchers, scientist and companies to showcase their latest products to potential buyers and investors.
SSIC Operational Chief, Hasan Azhari Idris said that the trade fair will be a marketing channel and network apart from stimulating business relationships among local and international technology entrepreneurship based businesses.
According to him, it will also provide an opportunity for researchers to take part in introducing new products and services to visitors through scheduled presentations at the exhibition hall.
“Through this exhibition, SSIC can promote Selangor as a centre of growth for businesses and knowledge-based industries altogether lifting the state as the most ideal location for technology-based industries.
“Besides that, it also creates a platform for corporate entities to showcase latest products and services besides being a proper channel for marketing, collaboration and partnership with other organisations both locally and internationally,” he said at a news conference at SSIC today.
Besides the exhibition, Sintex will also be holding sketching competitions, research and development (R&D) seminars and product design competitions.
