PETALING JAYA, 25 Apr: The People’s Justice Party (PKR – Parti Keadilan Rakyat) today claimed that there is suspicion in the ballot box storage process.
In one incident, the ballot boxes were to be kept at the Election Commission (EC) headquarters in Putrajaya, but it was found to have been moved to a dubious secret location.
PKR De Facto Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claimed that the vehicle which was supposed to transport the ballot boxes to the EC headquarters in Putrajaya rerouted to a location in Sungai Chua, Kajang.
The information was received from a reliable source, said Anwar as he urged the EC to provide explanation on the incident.
“Vehicles were asked to take the ballot boxes to Putrajaya but at a certain toll junction, the EC Pajero vehicle will move them to a secret location in Jalan AC 2 Industrial Centre at Sungai Chua, Kajang.”
“So, I am asking for clarification from the EC. What is their game after seeing the recent people’s uprising?”
Anwar told reporters at a press statement at the party headquarters this morning?
