PUTRAJAYA, 27 Apr: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will implement the Al Mawaddah concept, which is exchanging the placement of civil servants, teachers in particular, if PR receives the people’s mandate to lead Putrajaya in the 13th General Election (GE-13).

PAS Vice-President, Datuk Husam Musa said, no longer will married civil servants be separated far apart, which cripples their family construction.

“We will unite husbands and wives under the Mawaddah concept which brings each other together.

“If Datuk Seri Najib wants to sleep with Datin Seri Rosmah, why would the people not want to give them the choice for their family to be under one roof with job placements that are closer to each other,” he said in front of 10,000 attendees at a ceramah (talk) last night.

Also present at the ceramah was the PAS Musyidul Am, Tok Guru Nik Abdul Nik Mat and PKR Vice-President, Nurul Izzah Anwar.

In addition, Pakatan Rakyat also promises civil servants freedom of speech without any political intervention, as practiced by the current Umno-BN Government.

Similarly, the freedom to preach will be given to any individual or party as long as the context highlighted is in line with the teachings of the Al Quran and the Sunnah.

“Right now, if Ustaz Azhar Idrus wants to give a talk at Mizan (Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque), it is not allowed. Instead a K-Pop concert can be held in front of a mosque.

“We will change this and give permits, and not arbitrarily sack mosque committees,” said the PAS candidate for the Putrajaya Parliament.
