KLANG, 4 May: The defending Shah Alam MP, Khalid Samad (PAS) reminded the people that Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders entered the field of politics not to become rich.
But to serve the people, and to expose all Umno-BN’s lies over the years.
“Do not be afraid to vote on 505 (5th of May). If victorious, remember that the government administering is the Pakatan Rakyat Government, not PAS, DAP or even PKR.
“It is a coalition of three parties. We have governed Selangor for five years, we can govern together because PR agreed to rule with justice for all races and to reject corruption,” he said in a speech here at the Hokkien Association Building.
He added that not one of PR leaders have been prosecuted for corruption because its leaders administer with transparency.
“This is different from BN which only prioritises cronies.
“They (BN) only profit cronies. They give the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) one and two but they let the prices of goods rise. For example, the price of oil.
“Now they say that they want to give RM1,000, but we do not know what (prices) will go up after this. This is in contrast with Pakatan, where we went to reduce the prices of oil, cars and so on.
Therefore, Khalid hopes that the people will reject Umno-BN.
“Let us go down on 505 with clear goals. We shall make sure that BN is the last government.
