DAP Advisor, Lim Kit Siand, said that the incident of throwing two Molotov cocktails into the grounds of the Assumption Church at Lebuh Farquhar, Penang, and the move to raise banner by irresponsible quarters should be addressed by the authorities.

He said the silence by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has been disputed in addressing the issue.

“Why is the IGP careless in carrying out his duties? It is time for the IGP to wake up from his slumber and carry out his duties for the nation and the people.

“This is to protect them from traitors who are willing to incite racial and religious hatred by creating tensions,” said Lim in a press statement.
