Kajang By-Election: Mobile Phones of Five PKR Leaders Hacked

SHAH ALAM, 14 Mar: The mobile phones of five senior leaders of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) have been hacked by unscrupulous people in efforts to dissociate good relations between the party and PAS.

Tian Chua, via his Twitter, stated that many found that text (SMS) message allegedly from him warned that PAS was trying to sabotage the Kajang by-election.

“Many received an SMS supposedly from me, warning that PAS was trying to sabotage the Kajang by-election, my phone number was either hacked o Jenn-Tian-Chua “Many receive SMS alerts from my supposedly claimed sabotage PAS PRK Kajang, my phone number to be hacked or cloned and distributed SMS on my behalf.

“Caution” an SMS “Caution: some of my SMS commands are supposedly trying to sow suspicion between PKR & PAS machinery – these dirty tactics BN!,” He said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy President of PKR, Mohamed Azmin Ali, also admitted that same thing happened to his mobile phone.

“My mobile phone was hacked by unscrupulous people with aims to break the unity in Pakatan Rakyat.

The PKR Communications Bureau Director, Fahmi Fadzil, through his twitter @fahmi_fadzil, said that the account owned by the PKR Deputy President, Nurul Izzah Anwar, was also hacked.

“After @azminali mobile phone was hacked, now @n_izzah’s mobile phone has been hacked too!,” he said.

In addition, the Selangor State Assembly Dsputy Speaker, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and the Keadilan Youth Chief, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, also suffered the same fate.

“I, Tian Chua & Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin have become victims of sim card cloning. Fake SMS have been sent using our phone number” said Nik Nazmi Facebook.

In a press statement, Fahmi confirmed the incident and stressed that PKR leaders have never sent such SMS.

He vehement He vehemently condemned the dirty tactics used by irresponsible and malicious attempt to create dissatisfaction among the parties in the Pakatan Rakyat.

“Do not use such tactics, let’s fight on a legitimate political stage!,” he said.
