MH17: Britain called for emergency UN meeting to discuss Ukraine-Russia unrest

SHAH ALAM, 18 July: Britain has urged the United Nations (UN) to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the Ukraine-Russia unrest following the incident involving the MH17 aircraft owned by Malaysia Airlines (MAS) yesterday.

AFP reported that diplomatic sources said that the meeting will be held tomorrow.

MH17 reportedly crashed, killing 295 passengers and crew on the way back from Amsterdam.

The aircraft allegedly was victim of a pro-Russia missile attack.
