SHAH ALAM, 6 JULY: The attitude shown by certain leaders of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) who has continuously urged to replace Tan Sri Abdul Khalid as Chief Minister of Selangor is considered as out of ideas.

Also commenting that it is irrelevant, PAS Selangor Chief, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said Abdul Khalid has been made a scapegoat to every problem occurring in Selangor.

“They look like they are out of ideas because they would suggest to replace the chief minister whenever a problem crops up.”

“From the smallest problem till the biggest problem, all the blame goes to Abdul Khalid. That is not right,” he said in a statement to Sinar Harian.

Iskandar statement is in line with that of State Assemblyman (ADUN) of Meru, Dr. Abdul Rani Osman who previously criticised the attitude of certain leaders within PR who keeps urging Abdul Khalid to resign as Chief Minister after losing the race in the party election.

Iskandar who is also EXCO in charge of Housing, Building Management and Urban Explorers decided to stick with and support Abdul Khalid’s leadership even though there are many who urged him to resign from position as the number one person of the state.

He added, PAS Selangor will continue to fully support Abdul Khalid.

“For us, every problem faced by the state government can be solved, and not just by replacing the chief minister. It is better that we spend more time in finding solutions to the problems in the state rather than on this issue,” he said.
