SHAH ALAM, 3 AUGUST: The Air Pollution Index(IPU) for the state has improved after readings were recorded.

However, Port Klang remains the only location that is still currently at 64 IPU reading, a semi safe condition as of 10 in the morning.

According to the official website of Environmental Health Department(JAS), four other districts recorded readings such as Banting (27), Kuala Selangor (45), Petaling Jaya (50), and Shah Alam (46).
Whereas Kuala Lumpur, Batu Muda (61).

Most of the areas and states that recorded levels at semi safe level has now improved and recorded at better levels.

Among them are Negeri Sembilan, Nilai and Kuantan.

Besides that, other states that has recorded an average IPU reading is Ipoh(52) and Taiping(65).
Other areas recorded are Perai (61), Seberang Jaya (67) and USM (65).

For Sabah and Sarawak, readings at Miri(55), Kuching(56) and Samarahan(66).

IPU readings from 0 to 50 are considered to be in the safe category, 51 till 100(average), 101 till 200(unhealthy), 201 till 300(hazardous) and 300 above are all considered very dangerous.
