The Royal Advisory Council will hold meeting tomorrow to discuss CM issue

SHAH ALAM, 10 AUGUST: Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim was advised by lawyers not to issue any public statement regarding his position as the state’s Chief Minister until after a meeting by the Royal Advisor Council on the 11th of August.

He said, he will continue serving the state as usual and his lawyers has advised him not to do disrupt the upcoming law proceedings.

Abdul Khalid said, his priority is the responsibility of a Chief Minister and the administration of Selangor.

“Yesterday, I issued a press statement informing that I fully accept PKR’s decision. All issues regarding the status of the chief minister, I will be discussing it with DYMM Tuanku Sultan of Selangor after the Royal Council Advisors meeting tomorrow.

“All statement will be issue after the meeting tomorrow,” he said.

Abdul Khalid repeats his statement saying that he accepted the decision to fire him as a Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) member even though the decision is wrong and unlawful as well as standing against the party’s constitution.

The firing of Abdul Khalid was announced at a press conference after a PKR disciplinary committee meeting yesterday (9 August).
