Mat Sabu: Sultan’s wisdom accelerates the end of the political crisis in Selangor

KOTA TINGGI, 16 Sept: The Deputy President of PAS, Mohamad Sabu, is confident that the political crisis in Selangor will be solved in the near future through the wisdom of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Speaking at the 55th PAS Youth Conference themed Strengthening Solidarity, he is confident that the Sultan of Selangor does not want to see his state in unrest due to the turmoil.

“I am confident that the Sultan of Selangor wants his state to be calm, his people living in peace and enjoying the variety of balanced development,” he said when inaugurating the two-day conference, which began on September 16 at the Chon Moi Hall here, today.

Mohamad Sabu said that PAS plays an important role in the development of the state, particularly in the prosperity of mosques and the welfare of the people,, including Zakat, which is also carried out in Penang and Kelantan.

While asking all leaders to join forces again as soon as the crisis is over, he reminded PAS delegates that the real enemy of the people is Umno-BN.

“I hope for this, when the crisis is over. And I believe that it will happen in the near future through the wisdom of the Sultan of Selangor, (and) we will stand united again against Umno,” he said.

Reminding the delegates about the tyranny of Umno in the Mamali tragedy, he asked the delegated to not be fooled by the sweet promises of Umno which is seen as being soft towards PAS recently.

“So, if Umno dares to extend their hand, we will hit that hand,” he said, followed by chants.
