SHAH ALAM, 7 Oct: Accusations that the State Government under the administration of the former Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, with four Executive Council members approved the Oktoberfest festival is defamatory.

The Selangor PAS Commissioner, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that instead, the festival was never taken to the Exco meeting for a decision.

“There are allegations that the Oktoberfest was approved during the administration of Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and the four Exco members.

“This is not true. It was never brought to the Exco meeting,” wrote Iskandar on his Facebook page.

Prior to this, there were wild accusations on social sites that the State Government approved the festival which will end on October 12.
