SHAH ALAM, 13 Feb: Selangor PAS expressed their gratitude to the leaders of the state government and PR who were willing to give their last respects to the late Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat at Pulau Melaka, Kelantan, today.
The Selangor Information Chief, Zaidy Abdul Talib, said that the commitment shown shows strong camaraderie among the PR component parties.
“My thanks goes out to the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, and some state leaders I saw just now, including Amirudin Shari and Shuhaimi Shafiei. I’m sure there were other state leaders present.
“Similarly to the DAP Advisor, Lim Kit Siang, and the Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng, who came to pay their last respects,” he said.
Earlier, Mohamed Azmin rushed to Kota Bharu last night as soon as he heard of the death of the PAS Spiritual Leader.
Meanwhile, the Health Exco, Dr Daroyah Alwi, also went to Kelantan to visit and pay her last respects at 3am, as soon as she found out about the news.
